Ka pai Kōpū! Named after Venus, the morning star, this expressive Sauv Blanc from Marlborough is one not to be missed. Grapes are taken from around the Awatere Valley and quickly processed at the winery to ensure all those crisp varietal flavours are retained. It’s a great mix of tropical fruits, like pineapple and guava with hints of fresh grass, lip smacking grapefruit rind and limestone. If you can wait, it’ll be great to drink over summer 2021/22, but if you can’t drink now!
Kopu is translated as the Maori word for "The Morning Star". Every bottle of our wines from these selected vineyards, reflects the freshness and crispness of a new day.
